Coming from Indonesia, Michelle Chandra is currently finishing her Diploma in Fashion Design with interest in romantic, feminine and ethereal designs. Michelle believes in qualities and designs that inspire others. She likes to find inspiration from mundane things and is always willing to push herself for innovative designs.

Chandra approaches design through various experiments with different silhouettes and innovative cutting on the designs, with consistent feminine shapes and aesthetics.
Inspired by Japanese armory, Karuta collection encapsulates the future of protective wear through design. Metallic finishings on the fabric and details along with muted colors in the collection are based off of the metal and string used to tie the armor plates together. The cutting and panelling derived from armor plates in the armor with a futuristic and feminine touch. The collection envisions design from protective wear post pandemic.
