Bare & Bone

Leeanne O'Donnell

Singapore

Leeanne O'Donnell is an Irish-Chinese fashion Designer and lover of all things dark. Leeanne enjoys spinning (and teaching spin classes) to get away from the world. Leanne's great passion is helping people feel great about themselves, whether in what they wear or sweating it out and getting that dopamine rush after 45 minutes of "dancing" on a bike in a dark room.

Leanne O'Donnell aims to create a genderless image by combining contrasting elements like soft & hard and light & dark. Inspired by the grunge movement and rugged aesthetics, ultimately, O'Donnell wants to shine a light on the controversial impression of misfits and darkness to welcome a new age impression through inclusivity.

This collection is inspired by bones, and how throughout all humans, our bones are the same bone white colour. The collection takes inspiration from the silhouettes of human bones, regardless of all the bones conjoined or as individual bone pieces. The darkness of the collection coming from the thought of death and humans eventually turning into nothing but bones 6ft under the ground, and the light coming from the organic bone white colour. Pintucks are the main focus of the collection that interprets the bones and the lines seen on bones.

This collection is inspired by bones, their silhouette, their bone white colour and death.
