VIRo1 is a fashion brand that customises phygital (physical and digital) NFT accessory designs for youths globally. It aims to find creative fashion concepts and meaningful perspectives of influential K-pop idols to influence today’s standards of K-pop fashion and merchandise that are non-unique, lackluster and altogether impractical.
While many fashion brands are now navigating the realm of Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) through selling digital fashion designs, renowned international K-pop idols and companies are also producing digital fashion collections, utilising them as another mode of communication to connect with their fans and supporters. However, the digital fashion collections are neither purchasable nor possess a tradable NFT value. They are only available and remain shareable as interactive Augmented Reality (AR) filters on social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat. Thus VIRo1 aims to fill the gap in the K-pop fashion and merchandise lines to uncover business potential in the market through a non-constrictive fan-made lens.
