Maria Ivanco is a final year Fashion Design and Textile student, majoring in Creative Pattern Cutting and Draping in Lasalle College of The Arts in Singapore. Ivanco is a fast learner, well-organised, and has high attention to details. Ivanco loves exploring various things including textiles with various techniques, she enjoys every journey needed in order to achieve the desired goals or results.

Maria Ivanco looks further into the future of fashion and ensures that designs have positive impacts on the surrounding environment and also youthful enthusiasm for the wearer, especially to adapt and improve with a generation that will change over time.

The objective is to change the perception of the term “11 12”. Things that are the same can make a big difference if we are willing to change the way we look at things.

The concept of the collection encourages sustainability and disposability by using cassava bag as a main material to replace fabric. Cassava bag is a material made from cassava that easily dissolves in hot water, without leaving any trace. Moreover, the use of laser cutting and natural handmade spray paint is to support sustainability practices which aim to reduce textile waste, water usage, and pollution.

The concept of the collection encourages sustainability and disposability by using cassava bag as a main material to replace fabric to reduce problems within the fashion industry.
