Overdressed Over Kopi is a high jewellery editorial that explores the contrast between luxury and everyday Singaporean rituals. Set in a clean, stylised environment, the project pairs refined jewellery with familiar kopitiam elements like kopi, kaya toast and everyday breakfast gestures. Instead of recreating a full kopitiam, the focus is on small, recognisable details that reframe the ordinary in a more elevated way. Grounded in Singapore’s mix of local culture and modern luxury, the editorial reflects how both worlds naturally exist side by side. What may first feel 'overdressed' gradually becomes effortless, where jewellery is no longer seen as excessive but as part of one’s everyday identity.
