Parnika Goyal
Parnika is a BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Textiles graduate who specialises in sustainability and the evolving landscape of Indian fashion. She focuses on creating garments that are contemporary yet culturally rooted, balancing innovation with functionality. She enjoys pattern making and draping, using these skills to explore form, structure, and fluidity while developing thoughtful, well-constructed pieces. Parnika is especially interested in reinterpreting traditional Indian textiles and silhouettes to connect younger generations to their cultural heritage. She investigated how to minimise fabric waste while retaining refined silhouettes. Thoughtful draping and garment architecture enable movement and organic forms, translating concepts into designs that are both expressive and wearable. Parnika's goal is to contribute to a more sustainable and conscious fashion industry with work that values craftsmanship, longevity and identity. She aims to foster environments where creativity and responsible design shape the future of Indian fashion.
