"Anak Nusantara" navigates Indonesia’s dark history with the Chinese-Indonesian community. A past stained by discrimination, racism, and systemic inequalities, it retells history from the perspective of past, present, and future generations. Inspired by narratives of resilience and survival, the publication explores what it means to be Indonesian-Chinese — addressing questions about identity, heritage, and how they interact with broader questions of power, privilege, and social justice. It aims to amplify the voices of those directly impacted by history while uplifting and encouraging today's generations to make a meaningful difference, initiating conversations that inspire healing and reconciliation for a more inclusive future.
